Inaugural BHS Performance Awards sponsored by Paxman

📣The British Horn Society is pleased to announce that the deadline for applications for our 2026 Performance Awards has been extended to 14th September 2026! 📯 

In our inaugural year we aim to promote and advance the education of the public in its appreciation and knowledge of music with particular reference to the horn as a solo instrument as per the objectives of our constitution. Additionally, the Performance Award supports new work for horn through the inclusion of the BHS Composition Prize. Awards are due to the generous sponsorship of Paxman Horns.

Finals will take place at the British Horn Festival on Sunday 22nd November at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester
